I’m Eimee. I grew up in Ecuador, but life took me on a wild ride—I ended up marrying a Japanese guy. We made the big move to Japan in April 2022, and honestly? It still feels a little unreal.
So… why Japan?
The obsession started way back when I was a teenager. Think late nights binge-watching anime, collecting manga, and secretly dreaming about cherry blossoms and neon Tokyo streets. I even started teaching myself Japanese with books, apps, and endless YouTube videos.
When I finally visited Japan for the first time, it was love at first sight—the food, the people, the vibes… everything. And yeah, somewhere along the way I also fell in love with my husband.
